Chickpeas, or garbanzo beans, are a great source of plant-based protein and fiber, iron, zinc, phosphorus, B vitamins and more!
Thats what makes this fun recipe such a great snack for you or the kiddos. Throw them on salads to replace croutons or even add them to trail mix. You can flavor them up however you like!
RECIPE
CRUNCHY GARBANZO BEANS
2 cans organic garbanzo beans ( I use Eden Organic BPA free brand )
Spray avocado or coconut oil
Mineral rich sea salt
Pepper
Drain beans and spread on baking sheet ( I like to pat them dry a bit with paper towel ). Spray a layer of oil on top and a good dash of salt and pepper. Toss around so all are coated.
Place in 350 degree oven for about 45 min or until brown and crunchy.
