~An improvement in the strength or condition of something…
Another Year has come and gone and one thing that has become clearer is that nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know. Whether its your health, finances, relationships, or personal struggles as each year passes these things or situations will become clear as day and some will come with anger, confusion, and hurt.
Time heals us through wisdom, maturity and yes growth. That’s the beauty and mystery of it.
Resolutions are not about changing who you are; they’re about becoming who you want to be!
Bring on the new year with becoming the best version of YOURSELF!
Whatever it is in your life you need to conquer…DECLARE IT! Make it known 2019 is going to be YOUR year of revival!
~A simple change of perspective can change us and make us better…better parents, spouses, friends, leaders, teachers.~
Take time to ponder the following…
DISTRESSED OR LIVE FREE
{Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalm 118:5}
CRY OR MOVE ON
{A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; Ecclesiastes 3:4}
FEAR OR TRUST
{Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10}
HARDENED OR GENTLE
{Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5}
ANXIETY OR RELAXED
{Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7}
ANGER OR FORGIVENESS
{Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32}
PERFECTION OR EXCELLENCE
{But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10}
EXCUSES OR ACTION
{I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13}
POWERLESS OR POWERFUL
{For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12}
FALL OR KEEP CLIMBING
{No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13}
TALK OR LISTEN
{Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; James 1:19}
LAZY OR DISCIPLINED
{A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.Proverbs 25:28}
CONTROL OR LET GO
{The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9}
SHUT DOWN OR GIVE LOVE
{Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13 4-8}
Letting Go of so many personal struggles and finding my identity in God has been the most healing thing that has happened to me through the years. Through each new year it has led me this far right where I need to be.
I am always a work in progress and I can’t control everything. Accepting this and God’s plan for my life is my strength for this new year.

TRUST IN YOU
When you don’t move the mountains, I’m needing you to move
When you don’t part the waters, I wish I could walk through
When you don’t give the answers, as I cry out to you
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in you!
Truth is, you know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead you have not seen
So in all things be my life and breath
I want what you want, LORD, and nothing less
You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foundation , the rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
Your plans are always good
There’s not a place where I’ll go, you’ve not already stood
