Life holds so many mysteries. Though our tendencies are to figure it all out and find out “why” , contentment and ultimately gratitude come when we accept the beauty in all the mystery. This is not an easy feat!
One of the most important and often forgotten or overlooked aspects to better health, fitness, eating clean, and a sound mind is not motivation, persistence, or discipline its LOVE specifically self-love.
Do you allow yourself to love and be loved?? Its complex and can impact your longterm health.
What is LOVE? and how do you LOVE?
Love is sacrificing your own needs for someone else’s which is the greatest form of love.
Love is ACTION and SACRIFICE.
“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8.
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13.
“Love is long-suffering and kind. It does not envy; does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth: bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
Let’s ask ourselves ; Are we truly loving by these following statements?
- I am patient.
- I am kind.
- I do not envy
- I do not boast
- I am not proud
- I am not rude.
- I am not self-seeking
- I am not easily angered.
- I keep no record of being wronged.
- I do not delight in evil, but I rejoice with the truth.
- I always protect, always trust, always hope, and always persevere.
Self reflection can help you to understand your own strengths and weaknesses.

True love requires faith, sacrifice, trust and loyalty.
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes , always perseveres. Love never fails! (1 Corinthinans 13: 6-8
When you learn to sacrifice and love all those around you something changes on the inside. Your mental health gets a boost naturally from gratitude you begin to experience.
Ultimately you will begin to Love yourself and become a happier person. You are motivated and WANT to improve your life! You become passionate about your “why” and the drive just becomes natural not forced.
****This is the the first and most important step to embracing a healthy life and fit life! SELF LOVE is seeing yourself the way God already sees you! Your healthy living goals change from “losing weight” to “If I’m not healthy and don’t feel good how can I become everything God’s created me to be?****
You forgo “diets” for a healthy lifestyle and it all makes sense! You are off the hamster wheel ! You WANT to make changes, you are motivated by love, you know you are worthy!
Once you embrace self love you can work on affirmations, visualization , and healthy longterm lifestyle goals that work and last! These can keep you on track with your goals.
Love yourself, Love others. Let go of all that is holding your back and let love for others take over your heart. Unconditional love is ever so powerful! It feels so good! It transforms lives! It is the first and MOST important step to a healthy and fit life you WANT to live everyday!
