Homemade hummus is a great staple to have in your fridge. Its an amazing dip for veggies or goes well with Mediterranean meals as a side. Its easy to whip up and its packed full of fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Delicious and healthy for the whole family to enjoy!
2 cans garbanzo beans drained except about 1/4 cup of the liquid
1 heaping tablespoon organic tahini
1 cup REAL olive oil
Garlic (however many you like) I use 3 fresh cloves
Good dash of Sea Salt
For extra zip add in a little fresh lemon juice or dash of cayenne pepper!
Put all ingredients into the food processor and blend until smooth, ENJOY!
